Roxanne is a seasoned development professional for the social sector in the UK and overseas. Highlights from a 25 year career include 4 CEO and 4 Board positions in small charities, serving on the NCVO Leadership2020 Commission, research for the UK government investigating the culture of failure in International Development agencies, and administering an EU programme to develop Civil Society in the Pacific. Roxanne is a 'pracademic' - committed to building communities of inquiry and research-informed practice. She teaches postgraduate social entrepreneurship to emerging leaders from 5 continents. She has an MSc in Voluntary Sector organisation from the LSE and is currently completing doctoral research on how social leaders experience and manage organisational failure. Roxanne is a life Fellow of the RSA (elected 2003).
